VIntage SCHUMANN - BAVARIA SCH115 Embossed Multicolored Dresden Flowers Fine China. Pattern Description: Multi-colored Dresden Florals, Scalloped, Embossed Beading at Rim, Gold Trim. Maker's Marks: These pieces all seem to bear the printed'Crown' over'BAVARIA' over'V' Maker's Mark. Although very similar to a mark used by Schumann from 1918 until 1929, that mark spelled Bavaria' with lower case letters except for the'B'.

Bavaria' was slightly curved, as a smile curves upward at the edges. This set shares that same crown pattern but'BAVARIA' is all capitalized and is straight, not curved. It also depicts a letter'V' below'BAVARIA'. This mark, and the obvious Dresden Floral patterns, have been attributed to Schumann-Arzberg of Bavaria, but I have no been able to narrow down any dates of their production. They are likely from the 1950's or earlier.

Condition: Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. Expect light shelf wear, utensil marks or other signs of previous ownership. The pricing from the drop down menu is per item.
