A rare chance to get a set of 8 or 6 bone china cups and saucers by Aynsley in the elegant Leighton pattern : a deep cobalt blue rim with 24kt gold gilding. Condition is Excellent, with no chips, crack, staining etc. They could pass for new!

Cobalt reflects as Black in some photos but it is definitely cobalt in life. Aynsley was one of the first potteries in England to specialize in Bone China creating a very strong china that is thinner and lighter than others.

Queen Victoria recognized their quality by granting a royal warrant which is why they have a royal crown in their logo. In England everyone knows Aynsley is synonymous with high-end quality bone china.
