These are gorgeous sets and the price is unbeatable. The dinner plates are large and I had to adjust the racks in my dishwasher to get them in without being hit by the spinning sprayer above. The bowls are a great size and look bigger than they did in the photo. The glaze seems well done, so unless I abuse these dishes, they should hold up nicely.

I really like all the Better Homes and Gardens brand products that I have bought in the past because they are of a higher quality. If I could give Walmart only one piece of advice, it would be expand their customer base by carrying higher quality items, rather than only the cheapest stuff possible.

I think Walmart could compete much better if they also appealed to customers who were looking for attractive, higher quality merchandise and brands, and that goes for their food products too. Keep some cheap brands, but extend the spectrum for everybody to enjoy. I bought these dishes for my son as a Christmas gift. He is so happy with them. It arrived incredibly well packed, with no damage whatsoever.

Every piece was in perfect condition. My friends and family have been jealous, so I told them where to find this set. I expect Walmart will be low on stock soon enough.

I've read comments from other reviewers about the art work on the plates not being perfect. The dinnerware set is gorgeous as is. It's very heavy, so I handle it carefully or ask for my husband's help. It's true that the dinner plates cannot be used in my microwave due to their size, but I don't care.
