6 Pc John Wedg Wood Wedgwood CHAPOO Flow Blue Ironstone Dinner Salad Saucer Set

  

Stunning set of six plates produced by John Wood, often mistaken for Josiah Wedgwood (his second name coincidentally is Wedg) in the Chapoo Flow Blue pattern, c. Plates are twelve sided with panels and deep well featuring a central scene depicting large pagoda with flowering tree and three islands in the distance. Rim is decorated with two alternating floral patterns. Set consists of one dinner plate (10 2/3" diameter), one salad/dessert plate (7 1/2" diameter) and four saucers (6 diameter).

Set is in overall Excellent antique condition, note that the dinner plate has two chips to the rim - one is to the underside, the salad plate has a chip to the underside rim, and one saucer has a nick to the rim and one saucer has a chip to the footrim as shown. A fine addition to any home or collection!
