For your consideration are these handsome seven sterling silver plates or (833) what I believe to be the marks for Portugal. There are two cartouche one is a bird with what I believe to be the number 833 near its breasts, the other mark I just can't quite make out. These marks were used from 1887 to 1984.
The beauty of these plates is its simplicity in its design. These seven plates are extremely heavy and weigh approximately 145 ounces, yes you heard me right I believe that's almost 9.062 pounds of silver.
They have a gadrooned edge. They are all in excellent condition, one plate however does have a small dent. Please look at my photographs.
All the plates have light surface scratches, which can be buffed out if you so desire, from normal usage. They are approximately 10 3/4 inches in diameter. These would look great on any table.
