Set of Four George Jones & Sons Crescent China Raised Enamel Gold Dinner Plates
Rare and wonderful set of four dinner plates, produced by George Jones for Crescent China. Plates have a fantastic combination of raised gold and turquoise blue enamel "dots" around the rims of the plate, and hand painted rose wreaths and gold swags throughout. Plates measure 10.125 in diameter. Marked on the bottom with the Crescent China logo and pattern #23951. Plates are also marked with the impressed number "7" over the number "17".
Plates are in very good overall condition for their age. There is little to no gold wear at all. Two of the plates have slight abrasions around the rim that are below the gold. Possibly a result of manufacturing.
