Set of 12 Wedgwood Dinner Plates Cobalt & Gold Rims Circa 1902 -1920
12 CLASSIC WEDGWOOD DINNER PLATES. This is a complete set of twelve incredibly beautiful Wedgwood dinner plates with classic encrusted gold and cobalt rims.
Each plate measures 10 5/8 in diameter and has a wide inner encrusted gold rim with a gold floral transfer border rimmed in cobalt line borders and an encrusted gold edge. The plate are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or stains. One plate has a few pin pricks of missing blue paint to one area of its cobalt trim (See next to last photo) but that is the only area of missing paint or trim.
There are a few scattered short light scratches on some of the plates that are not easily spotted and may be either light utensil marks or storage stains. These plates were used gently (if at all) and were very carefully stored. Each plate is back stamped with a Portland vase mark and three stars. They are marked "Made in England" but do not state "Bone China" which dates them to 1902 - 1920. They are probably antique and they are Wedgwood at its very best. If it falls short, we will make up the difference.
