They measure 10 1/4 inches wide. They are very heavy, the twelve plates weigh almost 18 lbs.

There is hand painting on the plates. The plates have some different floral designs in the center. One of the plates has some gold wear on the edge, but the rest are very good.

There is no maker mark on the back, just a very small impressed mark, which is glazed over so I can't make it out.
