Limoges France Guerin Set 12 Dinner Plates Cobalt Blue Gold Antique Porcelain
Measure just over 9 3/4 across at widest sections. White porcelain with cobalt blue band - topped with fancy decorative gold transfer detailing. Gold medallion in center - slight flow blue into white center from cobalt blue bands. Probably listed as dinner/service plates originally.
Today, this size would be considered more of a buffet or luncheon size. Retailer stamp on bottom - Wright Kay & Co, Detroit Mich. These are in great vintage condition. Gold trim in beautiful shape. I only find a few faint/minor signs of use or wear on surfaces.
Centers of medallions have typical scuffs found on top of gold trim. No chips, cracks or glaze crazing found. One plate has a red mark on bottom - please see photos.
