Fabulous Set Of 9 Antique Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain Dinner Plates

  
This week Chamberlain Antiques is pleased to offer over 200 lots of fine Asian antiques and works of art. Included in the sale is a old private collection of Chinese and Japanese cloisonne, a private collection of snuff bottles collected by a diplomat who worked in China in the 1930's, as well as many other interesting examples of porcelain, bronze, and jade. This listing is for a great set of Chinese export porcelain dinner plates dating to the 19th century. The plates are hand painted with colorful reserves surrounding a central medallion bordered in blue ruyi heads.

Each plate measures 9.75 inches across and is heavily accented in gilt. The set is in very good condition with only a couple plates having a small nip on the rim.

There are no hairlines, cracks, or restorations. Please see our other listings for more items form the same service. In addition, all questions must be asked at least 12 hours prior to a lot closing.

This allows us time to inspect the item and take additional photos if needed. Many of the items we sell are well over 100 years old. Inherently, these items will have some minor or light wear.
