This sale is for a truly stunning late 19th century set of dinner plates by Masons Ironstone Pottery, fully marked to the base. Measuring 26cm wide they are all in excellent condition, about as good as it is possible to get - there are no chips, cracks, hairlines or any other damage and the gilding and painted decoration are in excellent order with minimal cutlery marks. The only thing of any note are the usual minor Masons manufacturing defects; this set is gorgeous, and a real collectors piece.
